To make sure we are on the same page as our clients in terms of expectations for the work to be performed, the amount of time it will take to perform the work, and compensation for performing the work, we operate as follows:
FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION. On your free initial consultation call, we will discuss the facts of your case, the type of work you would like us to perform, and the final product that you are looking for (e.g. an oral presentation, an e-mail report, or a formal memo).
ENGAGEMENT. Following our initial call, we will prepare a quote for our services. If you agree to the terms of our quote, you will sign an engagement letter formalizing the attorney-client relationship and we will get to work.
DISCUSSION. Our methodology is iterative, requiring open lines of communication between attorney and client.
Expect to hear from us from time to time, and feel free to reach out to us whenever you like. All of these conversations are included in our flat fee.
FINDINGS. When our research is complete, we will present our findings to you in the manner that you requested.
FOLLOW-UP. We include up to two hours of combined discussion and follow-up research time following the presentation of our findings in our flat fee. Additional time will be billed on an hourly basis.
